TM-Studia is Russian art group known for its exceptional approach to art and exhibitions. Like the early 20th century art groups, TM-Studia’s artists develop their own artistic language and style. TM- Studia also shares a particular interest towards the traditional art and the group constantly learns more about ancient ornaments, songs and dance. In this exhibition the visitors will get to hear some of Russian traditional songs performed by the artists themselves.

The main goal of the TM-Studia is to express feelings, the beauty and the essence of the nature’s harmony. In this way the group aims to establish new connections and relations between objects of the world, and discover new meanings in the ordinary ambiance. One of the TM-Studia’s basic principles is “art without intermediaries”. Thus the artists organize their exhibitions themselves and talk to the exhibition visitors in order to get direct feedback and help the visitors to openly talk about their feelings and thoughts.

Every year the artists create new paintings outdoors filled with sunlight, fresh air, emotions and artistic freedom. These plein airs are traditional and once again, the artists take a step towards their audience. TM-Studia has launched a special “Art Camp – Summer” art holidays for everyone who wants to learn to draw. The unique atmosphere and the products of the Art Camp have become known all over Russia and abroad.

TM-Studia was established seven years ago. Throughout these years the group has organized more than 50 exhibitions and art-projects. What makes TM-Studia art-projects special is the atmosphere of friendliness and creativity. To achieve this the artists not only display their works, but invite other outstanding people from all the art spheres to create space where regular visitor can take a step to his own creativity and become a contributor, not only a “consumer”. TM-Studia has collaborated with numerous great musicians, theater directors, cinema professionals, dancers and pantomime performance artists.

One of TM-Studia’s first exhibitions was titled “We Are Open”. Since that time this hasn’t changed – TM-Studia is open for everyone to communicate and share passion for the real art. The group will have a workshop “How to express your feelings and emotions in a drawing!” together with the exhibition on the 11th of May at 2:30. The gallery will then be open from 12 pm to 6 pm.
